In late August, I opened an e-mail from one of my favorite authors, Jon Acuff. Jon writes about productivity and time management in a fun, entertaining way. His e-mails always made me laugh and often inspired me to make a change in my life.

In this e-mail, Jon wrote about his September–January challenge. He said that September, like January, is the perfect month for a re-do. Since it's the start of a new school year, it often feels like a fresh start in life, too. He said it's the right time to implement a new habit that can bring positive changes into our lives. His e-mail included an attached calendar for the month. He encouraged readers to print one out, choose a new habit they want to see in their lives, and then color in a square for each day they follow through on their intentions. (Keep reading)
