...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL GREENVILLE...NORTH
CENTRAL ANDERSON AND EAST CENTRAL PICKENS COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM
EDT...

At 200 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greenville Downtown. This storm was nearly stationary.

Locations to be impacted include...
Greenville Downtown, Easley, Greenville Eastside, West Greenville,
Mauldin, Taylors, Berea, Welcome, Powdersville and Cherrydale Point.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and very heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour will be possible in these areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Gusty winds can blow down trees that are dead, or that have weakened
root systems. Outdoor furniture and similar items can be tossed
around if not anchored. Seek shelter indoors.
