...SNOW AND SLEET MIXING IN WITH RAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
GEORGIA AND THE UPSTATE THIS EVENING...

A few brief periods of snow and sleet could allow for some patchy
slick roadways this evening, mainly along and north of Interstate
85 from Carnesville, GA, to Gaffney, SC. Most of the snow should
accumulate on grassy surfaces, but a few bridges and overpasses
may become slippery. The wintry mix should transition back to
primarily all rain by 11 PM this evening aside from the area
farther north currently in the Winter Storm Warning and Winter
Weather Advisory.
