National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg SC
824 PM EDT Wed Apr 21 2021
...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY
EVENING...

A dry airmass will linger across the western Carolinas and northeast
Georgia Thursday. With low surface dewpoints persisting into the
afternoon, relative humidity values will drop to less than 25 percent
over most areas for a few hours. Small fuels will remain quite dry
and winds will become gusty by late morning. Thus, with the expected
low relative humidity values, the risk of fire danger will be
enhanced through the afternoon.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions. Please
