~Doreen Virtue, Signs from Above My father and I were never close. If not for my mother's presence, I would have barely spoken to him at all. So, when my mother died, I was presented with a dilemma. How in the world would I relate to this stranger who I called my father? I grew up with what might be described as a bully for a father. He was quirky and volatile, and it was difficult to feel any genuine affection toward him. But there I was, a grown woman, aching from the loss of my mother and feeling as if I were meeting my father for the first time. (Keep reading)
