Breaking News: 7 killed in another mass shooting in California

View in browser | nytimes.com   BREAKING NEWS Seven people were fatally shot in San Mateo County, Calif., the state's 2nd mass shooting in three days. A suspect is in custody, officials said. Monday, January 23, 2023 8:56 PM ET The shooting happened around 2:20 p.m. local time at two separate locations near Highway 92 and the Half Moon Bay city limits, about 30 miles south of San Francisco, the authorities said. Another person was transported to Stanford Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
