Let Macarons Rest Before Baking
After doing all the work of whisking, folding and piping, you'll be tempted to pop your macarons right in the oven. Hit pause! Macarons need to rest for 30 to 60 minutes before going into the oven. You'll know they're ready to bake when you touch the top and it's no longer sticky.
