| Whether you're hosting a Super Bowl party or celebrating Galentine's Day, our Savory Party Bread, with 79 ratings and 4.9 stars, is the show-stopping appetizer you've been searching for. Who can say no to crusty bread, melty cheese and buttery drizzle? Here's how to make the pull-apart specialty as well as some variations. Cut a 1-lb. round loaf of sourdough bread widthwise into 1-in. slices to within 1/2 in. of the bottom. Repeat cuts in the opposite direction. Cut 1-lb. Monterey Jack cheese into 1/4-in. slices; cut slices into small pieces. Place cheese in between cuts of bread. Psst! You can also add bacon, salami, ham or olives, and use Brie or smoked Gouda instead. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup chopped green onions and 2-3 Tbsp. poppy seeds (or everything bagel seasoning!); drizzle over top. Wrap loaf in foil; bake on a baking sheet at 350°F for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes more. | | |
