ACS Surgeons and Engineers Meeting
Two Week Countdown: Register Now!

Dear Surgeons, Engineers, Educators, and Scientists:

The deadline to register for the ACS 2023 Surgeons and Engineers: A Dialogue on Surgical Simulation meeting at the Swissotel in Chicago is approaching. February 24, 2023 is the last day to register.

We are pleased to offer this full-day meeting of activities to immerse you in topics to learn and receive inspiration from experts, engage in interactive breakout sessions, and connect with your peers. The registration deadline is February 24, 2023, with a fee of $395 for all participants.

Pierre E. Dupont, PhD at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard, will give us the keynote address. The special panel session will invite a surgeon educator, an academic engineer, and an expert from the surgical simulator industry to discuss how to build better surgical simulators. Outstanding abstracts will be presented as oral and poster presentations. A workshop session in the afternoon, which will be open to all meeting participants, will address what the fundamentals of Cognitive Task Analysis (CTA) are and what important roles the CTA can play in simulator development.
