My wife and I dated in high school, then went our separate ways. Several years later, we reconnected with some help. What God gave Theresa and me, in my view, was a very clear message — a message that we both understood and trusted. Theresa and I both grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended an all-girls Catholic high school, Mercy Academy. I attended an all-boys Catholic high school, St. Xavier. Theresa became friends with my older sister, who also attended Mercy. Several weeks after we met, I got up the nerve to call Theresa on the phone and ask her out on a date. We were both in our junior year of high school. We continued to date and became very close over the next two years. (Keep reading) |
