Breaking News: Over 1,000 dead in Morocco quake

Saturday, September 9, 2023 10:24 AM ET The quake struck in the High Atlas Mountains shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday with a magnitude of 6.8 and a depth of about 11 miles, the United States Geological Survey said in a preliminary report.
