During kitten season, in addition to all the regular stuff, there are constant, frantic messages about pregnant cats, newborn kittens, stray mama cats with kittens, abandoned kittens, orphaned kittens, and kittens that were born because someone didn't get their cat fixed. On average, during kitten season, I am asked to take about a hundred every week. It is intense, insane and impossible. About a month into kitten season last year, I got a message from one of my fosters. A stray cat had kittens at her sister-in-law's house. She asked if I could take them if she trapped them.
