Of all the desserts we publish, new layer cakes excite me the most. Whether they're family recipes sent to us by our community, or future classics developed in our test kitchen, I love seeing the new flavor combinations people come up with—and the gorgeous photos. Our recipe tester Maggie Knoebel developed this Snickerdoodle Cake, inspired by the beloved cookie.
