| This year, it seems like winter just won't quit, but inside Taste of Home HQ, we're already in warm-weather mode. Thanks to magazine publishing deadlines, we're hard at work on our Summer issue: lighter, brighter dishes that feel like a welcome break from winter's golden-brown casseroles and cozy bakes. It's loaded with recipes and ideas sent in by our cooking community and we can't wait for you to see it. The staff has had so much fun developing, testing and shooting the latest batch of recipes. If your weather forecast is as wild as ours is, I've got two perfect shoulder-season dishes for you to make while turning on the stove still feels like a good idea: lentil Bolognese and our own spin on TikTok-famous dumpling lasagna. Lately, the Test Kitchen crew and I have been stepping in front of the camera to film social videos alongside our editors. You may not know us very well yet, but keep your eyes peeled. We're making our favorite recipes, mixing mocktails and sharing kitchen tips you'll actually use. And we're having a blast. (If only I could share all my bloopers.) If you spot one of our videos on Instagram or Facebook and it teaches you something new or simply makes you smile, we'd love to hear about it in the comments. Or email me at sarah.farmer@tasteofhome.com. There's so much more to come—and we're just getting warmed up. —Sarah |
