When I was a kid, my mom made homemade pizza every Saturday night. In the early afternoon, she'd lug her stand mixer from the cabinet and hoist it onto the counter to start the dough. I can still remember the aroma in our kitchen.
If you want to start your own pizza night tradition, or just try a new pizza recipe tonight, I recommend our Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Its thick crust is topped with a no-cook sauce and whatever toppings you wish.
