Wednesday, 2 September Improving survival from filovirus disease, including Ebola and Marburg (EPI-WIN webinar) 13:00 CEST, WHO EPI-WIN webinar WHO's Guidelines for the Clinical Management of filovirus disease, published in June 2026, cover diseases caused by Ebola, Sudan, Bundibugyo, Taï Forest and Marburg viruses. The guidelines provide 16 evidence-based recommendations on supportive care and clinical management, which reflect lessons learned from recent outbreaks and emphasize the critical role of early care in improving survival and recovery. Friday, 4 September The 9th World One Health Congress 4 to 7 September, Lisbon, Portugal The 9th World One Health Congress will open on 4 September in Lisbon, Portugal. It will bring together experts from around the world to advance One Health science and policy. Through parallel tracks addressing One Health science, antimicrobial agents and resistance, the science–policy interface and other critical topics, participants will exchange research findings and policy developments, discuss major One Health challenges and strengthen collaboration across the global One Health community.
