...PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS THE PIEDMONT AND FOOTHILLS THIS
MORNING...

Patchy dense fog, reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less at
times can be expected across mainly the Piedmont and the foothills
of the Carolinas and northeast Georgia this morning. Motorists
traveling along I-85 from northeast Georgia through the
Greenville-Spartanburg area, along I-26 through South Carolina and
the Saluda grade in North Carolina, and other roads and highways
across the area should be prepared for deteriorating visibility.
Slow down and use low beam headlights of dense fog is encountered.
The fog is expected to begin improving by sunrise as a cold front
brings drier air to the region.
