* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern Anderson County in upstate South Carolina...
Southeastern Greenville County in upstate South Carolina...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 1157 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain still falling across the warned area across Southern
Greenville and Southeast Anderson Counties, mainly throughout the
Saluda Basin.
Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Mauldin, Simpsonville, Five Forks, Fountain Inn, Piedmont,
Williamston, Honea Path, Donaldson Center, Fork Shoals and
Princeton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
